Hello and Welcome to Healing Ink & Art. We are excited to announce the opening of our new space in downtown Waconia. I am Cheryl Rae Shohet ~ tattoo artist and metalsmith. I wanted to create a private sanctuary for my tattoo services and provide a home for local artists all under one roof. I have dedicated my life to the arts. Much of my muse has focused on making art with purpose. 5 years ago I embarked upon a new love, the art of tattoo. I was compelled by my mission to help breast cancer survivors. It was through this pursuit that I discovered my passion for the body arts of tattoo, permanent makeup and perimedical tattoo. I am truly honored to have gained the trust of so many clients. This space is uniquely creative, peaceful and relaxing. Here art truly has purpose, as breast cancer survivors are provided free restorative services and a portion all art sales help to cover the cost of materials. This region is home to many incredibly talented artists. We are painters, potters, jewelers, leather workers, glass blowers and much more. Please come check us out. We are just getting started and things will continue to grow as we build our oasis.
